Red Tape Rebellion is an experimental metal band with elements of Thrash metal and grunge overtones originating from Stellenbosch, South Africa . When they started out, Hannes de Klerk (drummer) and Cobus Beukes (rhythm/lead guitarist) added Rudolf Du Plessis (lead guitarist) to the team to add some melodies, and after some time, bassist and vocalist Carl Retief joined in to complete this powerful 4-piece. RTR's sound is influenced by a variety of different styles in the metal genre and in some cases a feel of melodic vibrance. If you are looking for some heavy shredding and hammering drums accompanied by some groovy licks and chops, RTR has compiled an interesting sound and will continue to explore the halls of heavy music.
